Team story
Origins
At the F1 75 launch in London in February 2025, an unusual question also came to the fore: what is this team called? After Toro Rosso, AlphaTauri and RB, the Faenza organisation presented itself as Racing Bulls. The new lettering did not mark the birth of a team from scratch.
It continued the story of the Red Bull group’s second team, with a sporting identity distinct from the one based in Milton Keynes.
The Formula 1 journey
The first podium under the Racing Bulls name came at Zandvoort in 2025. Isack Hadjar qualified fourth and stayed with the leading group throughout the race, finishing third. It was his first Formula 1 season: a specific achievement in the VCARB 02 that gave the new name something more tangible than a launch presentation.
The journey that had begun in Australia now had its first memorable moment.

Latest recorded appearance · Spanish Grand Prix
Yuki Tsunoda · Spanish Grand Prix 2026. The recorded position is P14; this number alone does not show whether the driver completed the race distance. This is the latest start in the archived snapshot, not the end of the team’s activities.
A distinctive way of racing
Liam Lawson, Yuki Tsunoda and Hadjar illustrate the team’s relationship with Red Bull’s driver programme better than any abstract definition. A seat here can mean a debut, a chance to develop, or a return after a spell with the senior team. Racing Bulls nevertheless races its own cars and earns its own results.
Belonging to the same group does not make the two teams interchangeable or automatically transfer their successes and difficulties from one to the other.
What remains
The history collected under the Racing Bulls name is still short. Hadjar’s podium belongs to this chapter; Vettel’s Monza victory remains a Toro Rosso achievement, and Gasly’s 2020 win belongs to AlphaTauri. Faenza connects those experiences, but keeping them distinct makes it possible to see what really changes from one era to the next.
The VCARB 02 marks the beginning of this new page, not the beginning of the entire organisation.
