Madring was conceived around Madrid's IFEMA exhibition district as a hybrid of public roads and purpose-built sections. Announced in 2024 for a 2026 debut, it returns the Spanish Grand Prix to the capital region decades after Jarama.
As a new venue, Madring has no completed Formula 1 Grand Prix to remember yet. Its first race will establish the circuit's sporting identity and provide the first real evidence of how the planned banked corner and mixed layout race.
Across 5.416 km, its 22 corners create a distinct rhythm between braking, precision and acceleration. As a street circuit, it asks drivers and teams to adapt setup, tyre management and race strategy to the venue's particular constraints, while its clockwise direction shapes the sequence of its most demanding sectors.
