Technical identity
Officially named Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance, the car evolved the W10 while changing most of its more than 10,000 parts. Its Mercedes-AMG F1 M11 EQ Performance 1.6-litre V6 hybrid power unit exceeded 50% thermal efficiency, while its dense front-wing, bargeboard and floor surfaces maintained an exceptionally stable aerodynamic platform.
A season of records
Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas delivered 13 victories, 15 pole positions, 25 podiums and 860 laps led across 17 Grands Prix. Mercedes secured a seventh consecutive Constructors' Championship, while Hamilton matched Michael Schumacher's record of seven Drivers' titles.
