Max Verstappen passed Charles Leclerc to win the inaugural race. In 2024 Lando Norris used a well-timed safety car and strong pace to claim his long-awaited first Formula 1 victory.
Across 5.412 km, its 19 corners create a distinct rhythm between braking, precision and acceleration. As a street circuit, it asks drivers and teams to adapt setup, tyre management and race strategy to the venue's particular constraints, while its anti-clockwise direction shapes the sequence of its most demanding sectors.
